All academic programs at Platt College Alhambra are on a 12-week quarter system. This calendar may alter before or during a term due to emergencies or factors beyond the college’s control, such as extreme weather, utility outages, or federal or state orders.
Monday through Friday, classes run from 7:30 a.m to 7:00 p.m. During the academic calendar, online courses are available 24/7.

Platt Alhambra is in a lovely campus environment at Fremont Avenue, just minutes from the 10 and 710 freeways. Their buildings have a total floor area of about 32,623 square feet (3,031 square meters), which includes classrooms, computer and design labs, a library, and office space. There is plenty of free parking for students right at the campus.
Less than three minutes of walking will get you to the classroom from the grocery store and restaurant across the street. It takes five minutes to get from campus to the main street in downtown Alhambra.

The Platt School of Medical Sciences’ Veterinary Technology Program offers in-depth study and training required to secure entry-level work in animal health care. In as little as 19 months, you can earn your associate’s degree in veterinary technology.
