The Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinsho Shotemur was called the Tajik Agrarian University and it was renamed in 2009. It comprises of nine faculties, including agronomical, agrobusiness, zoo- engineering, veterinary, economic, horticulture and biotechnology of agriculture, mechanization of agriculture and hydromeliorative. There are 6500 students who study at this university. It is located in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

This non-profit public higher education institution was established in 1929 and it’s situated in Samarqand. This institute is officially recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Uzbekistan. The Faculty of Veterinary Prevention and Treatment is part of this institute.
